About Me

I was born in Toronto, and raised in Asia. I lived in Korea for three years and China for two. During this time, I developed a curiosity for people and experiences.

I graduated from OCAD University in 2019 with a Bachelors of Design, majoring in Industrial Design and minoring in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship. My education has molded my passion for solving problems within products and systems.

I have learned how to apply user research in order to ideate opportunities and develop proof of concepts. My background in business makes me a strong candidate because it gives me an understanding of business theory that contributes to the feasibility of my designs. Through my education from Brain Station, my user interface knowledge has made me a better user experience designer by being able to design digital experiences, as well as physical ones.

During my degree, I was selected to participate in the India Abroad Program, run by OCAD U. I was appointed to be the project manager by my group members. I used my problem solving and leadership skills when my team was tasked with developing a sustainable and affordable replacement to plastic bags for a large grocery store. Adapting to an unfamiliar environment, my team designed a full circle system that was later successfully implement.

Whether it may be strategy, service, or product design, my career interests lie in using a human centred approach. This ensures every aspect of the user experience is designed with efficient and sustainable solutions.

My personal interest include reading about anthropology, sustainability, and business. If I am not planning my next trip or busy with an art project, you can find me out doors rock climbing, paddling, biking, or skiing depending on the season.
